Do I have to care about the RPG stuff?

No. Six switches in Settings turn off every random layer, and you can set every reward to whatever you like. Underneath it’s a straightforward task, habit and goal manager.

Is the game too easy or too hard?

That’s up to you, literally. 28 reward values and 7 RNG parameters are yours to set. Ship-defaults are a starting point, not a design decision you’re stuck with.

What happens if I stop using it for a week?

Check into the Tavern first. Your streaks are shifted forward by the length of your stay, you can’t lose HP, and bad habits can’t touch you.

Does the AI read my journal?

Not unless you switch it on, and the switch ships off. The weekly coach works from numbers the server computes itself.

Is there a mobile app?

Yes — Flutter, 26 screens, one-to-one with the web app, against the same backend.

What languages does it support?

The web app is fully translated into 10 — English, Arabic, Spanish, Chinese, German, French, Portuguese, Hindi, Japanese and Latvian — with full right-to-left layout for Arabic. Mobile offers all 10 and mirrors RTL, with its own interface copy still rolling out.

These terms are an agreement between you and Grindful. By creating an account or using Grindful, you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use Grindful. They cover the Grindful website (grindful.app), the web app (play.grindful.app) and the Grindful mobile app.

1. Who we are

Grindful is operated by Ahmad Ayyad, a sole proprietor based in Amman, Jordan. You can reach us at info@grindful.app.

2. Who can use Grindful

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you may use Grindful only with a parent’s or guardian’s permission, and by using it you confirm that your parent or guardian agrees to these terms on your behalf. Each account is for one person, and you are responsible for what happens under your account. Keep your password safe.

3. The service

Grindful is a gamified productivity app — tasks, habits, goals, routines, a journal, a pomodoro timer and related features. It is available on the web and as a mobile app, with a free tier and a paid Premium tier. We may add, change or remove features over time.

4. Premium and billing

Premium costs US$7 per month or US$70 per year. Payment is handled by PayPal; we never see or store your card details.
Premium starts with a 14-day free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, PayPal bills you for the plan you chose, and then automatically each month or year until you cancel.
You can cancel at any time from your PayPal account. Cancelling ends your Premium access immediately, and ads return on the free tier.
If a payment fails, PayPal retries it. After three failed attempts your subscription is suspended and Premium access ends.

5. Refunds

If you are unhappy with a charge, email info@grindful.app within 14 days of that charge and we will refund it in full. This is in addition to any refund rights you have under the consumer law that applies to you.

6. Your content

Everything you create in Grindful — your tasks, journal, goals and the rest — belongs to you. By using Grindful you give us permission to store and process that content so we can provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not claim ownership of it and we do not sell it.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

use Grindful for anything illegal, or to harass, threaten or harm anyone;
disrupt or overload the service, or try to break its security;
access other users’ accounts or data without permission;
copy, resell or reverse-engineer the service except where the law allows it.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

8. Advertising

The free tier is supported by ads; Premium removes them. Ads are provided by Google (AdSense on the web, AdMob on mobile). How ad cookies and identifiers work, and how to opt out of personalised ads, is explained in our Privacy Policy.

9. Third-party services

Grindful works with other services — PayPal for payments, Google for sign-in and optional Calendar sync, and others listed in our Privacy Policy. Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.

10. Disclaimers and liability

Grindful is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. It is a productivity tool, not professional advice: nothing in it is medical, psychological, financial, legal or religious advice, and its AI features can be wrong — always use your own judgement. We do not guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim relating to Grindful is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms removes any rights you have under the mandatory consumer-protection law that applies to you.

11. Suspension and termination

You can stop using Grindful and ask us to close your account at any time by emailing info@grindful.app. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the law, or where we must to protect the service or other users.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will give at least 30 days’ notice before a price change takes effect, and at least 14 days’ notice of other material changes. Continuing to use Grindful after a change takes effect means you accept it.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Jordan, and the courts of Amman have jurisdiction over any dispute — without removing the protection of any mandatory consumer law of the country where you live.
